Alwin Wright

Mr. Wright died Monday, March 27, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.    He was born in Cason, Texas on July 3, 1944 to Lincoln and Claudine (Smith) Jeffery.  He attended schools in Morris County and was a member of the Shady Grove Christian Church in Cason.  He worked for T & N, Golden Feast and Day and Zimmerman before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Alwin Ray Wright, a daughter Melinda Wright. 

He leaves to cherish his memories and to celebrate his life, three sons Elvis Hurndon of Dallas, Texas, Elwin Smith and Alwin Smith both of Pittsburg, Texas; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one aunt Marsha Nell Smith of Pittsburg, Texas; special cousins Martha Bryson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Michael Bryson of Longview, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
