Arthur Mae Walker was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on March 17, 1949 to T.L. Sr. and Nellia D. (Brooks) Brown.   She passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. 

She attended Booker T. Washington School and worked at Stansell City Cleaners for many years.  She was a member of Greater Bibleway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Rayford Walker, Jr., her parents, one brother T.L. Brown, Jr., two sisters Ora Dean Minter and Josephine Dudley.

She leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life, her one daughter Robin Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law Wayne Lee and Beverly Walker, Rayford and Nicole Walker, Willie James Howard all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas six sisters and two brothers-in-law Beverly Curtis, Frances Brown, Artice and Frank Johnson, Mattie and L.B. Stanberry all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Georgia Adair and Linda Bell both of Dallas, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law J.L. and Laura Morgan, Rayford and Elnora Brown all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; eight grandchildren Kendrick (Bridget) Walker, Demetria Walker, Gregory McCoo, Corwin (Renata) Elliott, Courtney Walker, Wayne Walker, Jr., La Darius Walker, Jasmine Walker, eleven great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
