Edwin C. (Butch) Rutherford

Mr. Edwin Charles Rutherford, was born in Naples, Texas on March 22, 1955 to Edwin and Berdie Mae (Wilkerson) Rutherford.   In his early years, Edwin attended N.S. Curry CME Church formerly the Cottrell Chapel CME Church, Naples.  He later united with Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Daingerfield, Texas, where he was an usher. He was a faithful member.   He graduated from Paul Pewitt High School, Omaha/Naples and retired from Pilgrim’s Pride.

He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Brut Rutherford, his brother Gregory Rutherford and his grandparents. 

He is survived by his mother Berdie Rutherford, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Maria Rutherford, sister Vicki Rutherford, cousin, like a brother Mitchell Wilkerson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, special friend Linda Askew and friends.
