Jeanette “Nette” Warren was born December 27, 1930 in Naples, Texas to John Henry and Mary Ethel (Robinson) Warren.  Jeanette passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2016 in Tyler, Texas.

She graduated from George Washington Carver High School and then Prairie View A & M College with a degree in Elementary Education.  After college, she joined the military serving in the United States Air Force. 

She worked for the Postal Service in the City of Los Angeles and retired after 25 years of service. Due to the wonderful California sunshine, she continued to live in Los Angeles until the latter portion of 2014.  Nette was an avid solitaire card player who also loved solving crossword puzzles.  Although she lived in California, the Dallas Cowboys were her favorite NFL team.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, five brothers and two sisters, one niece and two nephews.                                                                                                                                  

Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory and to celebrate her life one son Michael Warren of Cincinnati, OH; one brother Billy Warren of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters Thelma Kelly of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Bettye Warren of Naples, Texas; three nieces Shirley Wilkerson of Forney, Texas; Sheila Wilkerson of Mesquite, Texas, Pat Warren of Los Angeles, CA; grandniece Domare Peoples of Los Angeles, CA and grandnephew Donald Peoples of Orlando, Florida; her best friend Ella Carter of Los Angeles, CA and a host of other relatives and friends.
