John Henry Wilder
He was born in Foreman, Arkansas on June 23, 1929, to John and Effie (Ragland) Wilder. In her early years, The oldest of seven children. He married Ivory Jo Brooks in January of 1947 and they were blessed with 18 children. He was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church and later resided with our family church, Full Gospel Pentecostal Revival Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was the Senior deacon in the church for many years. He was employed with the Railroad for seven years and retired from Pilgrim Pride after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Effie Wilder; one daughter Sandra Williams and one son Tommy Lee Wilder; two brothers Chester Wilder and Jestell Wilder; four sisters Czdoshia Cater, Cylenthia Winbush, Earsie V. Davis, Veanna Royal.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Ivory J. Wilder of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his son John L. Wilder of Rosharon, Texas; daughters and son-in-law Joyce and Clayton Vaden, Letha M. Aguilar, Barbara and David Rogers, Delain Wilder, Carolyn and Marcus Savage; sons Dewight L. Wilder, Durbin W. Wilder, Delton Wilder, Abner E. Wilder all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Demetruis Wilder, Isaac Wilder, Quintus Wilder, and Malcom Wilder of Florida; 38 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
