Johnnie B. Neal

He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on June 22, 1935 to John Neal and Cora Hunt.  Mr. Neal died peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018.   He attended Booker T. Washington Schools, Mt. Pleasant.  He was a Puck Wood Hauler until he went to work for Lone Star Steel.  He also worked in Mt. Pleasant for Pilgrim Bank, Titus Regional Medical Center and retired from Guaranty Bond Bank.   Johnnie B. loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Christ, Mt. Pleasant, until his health failed.  He served faithfully as a deacon, praise conductor, Sunday School Supt., Y.P.W.W. President and he sung in the choir. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, one daughter, one nephew and son-in-law.

He leaves to cherish his memories and to celebrate his life, three daughters Kimberly Armour of Pittsburg, Texas; Terrianna Morgan of Edina, Minnesota; Janice Veasley of Daingerfield, Texas; two sons Leeward Guilliam of Dallas, Texas; Henry Mandigo of Pittsburg, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one sister Johnnie Mae Thomas of Pittsburg, Texas; one brother-in-law Clarence (Gloria) Evans of Marietta, Texas; one sister-in-law Vickie Hatley of Atlanta, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
