Kenneth Ray Hurndon, Jr.

He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on July 21, 1972 to Kenneth R., Sr. and Lynetta (Elliott) Hurndon. Kenneth was athletic and enjoyed sports. He was All District Safety in football and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1990. He coached youth league basketball and was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. He was a member of the Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant and worked in Construction. Mann always liked to talk to people about doing the right thing. He loved his family and was very family oriented. Most of all, he was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, grandson and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lynetta Titus, his paternal grandparents George and Ruby Hurndon, his maternal grandfather John Henry Elliott; several aunts and uncles.
He leaves to cherish his memories and to celebrate his life, his wife Latoya Hurndon of Mt. Pleasant; his children Tycorious Hurndon, Ashlyn Taylor, Tyla Tarrant, Jordyn Hurndon, Destiny Hurndon, Jacolby Washington, Kirby Minter; three grandchildren Jeremiah Taylor, Amia Hurndon, Legen Hurndon; his father and stepmother Kenneth R. Sr. and Patricia Hurndon of Houston, Texas; his grandmother Lois Elliott of Mt. Pleasant; his brother Korey Hurndon; his sisters LaKyndra Hurndon and LaKonya Hurndon all of Dallas, Texas, Kianna Hurndon of Houston and step sister Andrea Wady of Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; great aunts, great uncles; best friends forever that he considered like brothers Tracy Hodge and Ralston Luster both of Dallas, Texas; Quitman Luster, Eddie Brown and Michael Traylor of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; special sisters Beverly Grundy, Lashanda Hargrave, Mattie Barrett, Stacie Nixon, Joanie Hudson, Rena Barrett; a host cousins, other relatives, and friends.
