Lucille Harper
Lucille Yvonne Harper was born on May 9, 1941 in Mt Pleasant, Texas to Earl Williams and Mildred Beason. Lucille was a 1958 graduate of Booker T Washington High School where she was a majorette. In September 1959, she married Walter L Harper and relocated to Missouri. To this union one son was born, Craig Harper.
Lucille retired from Silgan after many years of service. She was a Union Representative for Local 2 Union. Upon retiring, Lucille indulged in her favorite hobbies cooking, baking, and reading. She was an excellent baker and cook.
Just as she was a dedicated mother, wife, aunt and employee, she was an equally dedicated Christian as an active member of Holsey Chapel ICM in Saint Joseph, Missouri, she was also a former Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl Williams and Mildred Beason, husband Walter L Harper, son Craig L Harper, brother Bobby Williams, special cousins Catherine Rutherford and Charles Harrison Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister Edna Earl Mitchell of California; her nieces and their husbands Rena Thomas (Frankie), Gretchen McCoo (Anthony), Antoinette Rogers, all of Mt Pleasant, Tx and Stacey Brooks (Lavean) of Little Elm, Tx; nephew and his wife Rodney Rogers (Asia) of Mt Pleasant, Tx; her aunt Alene Williams of Kansas City Mo.; special cousins Roscoe Williams Jr., Wanda Diane Williams, Jan’Tel Howard of Kansas City, Missouri, and Phelicia Rockwell of Dallas, Texas; brothers in law Lee Harper Jr. of Seattle Washington and Charles Harper of Kansas City, Mo; sisters in law Clara Harper of Spokane Washington, and Larie Doss of Naples, Tx; her godchildren Teresa Everett of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Keith Stanberry (Sibyl) of Katy, TX as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
