Lynetta Elliott Titus of Lancaster, Texas and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. 

She was born August 1, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to John Henry and Lois (Fleming) Elliott.  Mrs. Titus was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1970 and was a member of the Metro Christ Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. She was an Assistant Manager for a Leasing Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Titus, her granddaughter Beautiful Florence, her brother John Calvin Elliott, her sisters Rhonda Thompson and Virginia Nell Elliott.

She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, her father and mother John Henry and Lois Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, Texas;  two daughters,  LaKyndra D. Jones of Arlington, Texas; LaKonya R. Hurndon  of  Dallas, Texas; two sons  Kenneth R. Hurndon, Jr. and LaToya of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Korey D. Hurndon and Nikki of Dallas, Texas;  11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law  Anthony C. and Kimburley Elliott; Gary D. Elliott all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; four sisters and  two brothers-in-law  Debra and Kenneth Hannible of Lancaster; Brenda Woodson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Belinda Peoples, Felisha and Michael Davis all of Lancaster, Texas; and a  host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
