Sharika Loreal Mitchell

She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on May 3, 1986 to Robert Lee Goodlow, Sr. and Vivian Mitchell.   She passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Alexandria, Louisiana, after a brief illness. 

Sharika attended Mt. Pleasant High School before going to the Job Corp.  She was a member of the Grace Church in Deridder, Louisiana.  Sharika was currently employed with Blackstone Consulting in Leesville, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Mitchell; her sister Dyesha Charee Mitchell; her grandfather Weldon Mitchell, Sr., her uncles Robert Mitchell, Weldon Mitchell, Jr., Carl Mitchell and Alvin Mitchell, her aunt Evelyn Mitchell. 

She is survived by, her son Dejayontrea Emmanuel Scott; her daughter A’Naja Shakira Scott both of Deridder, Louisiana; her father Robert Lee Goodlow, Sr.  of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one sister Jessica Nicole Mitchell of San Marcus, Texas;  two brothers LaKendris Lee Mitchell of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Lee Goodlow, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her grandmother Anna Jo Mitchell of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; aunts and their spouses Shirley A. Guilliam, Laura J. Allen, Betty Thomas, Shirley and Preston Fountain Sr., Betty and Tim Holloman,  Ruby Goodlow all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Doris Gray of Irving, Texas, Bobbie Sue Youngblood of Houston, Texas; uncles and their spouses Billy Clyde Goodlow, Willie B. and Carolyn Goodlow of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Clarence and Shena Mitchell, Alton and Carol Mitchell all of Dallas, Texas; Latasha and Hero Brown of Killeen, Texas;  and a host of  cousins, other relatives and friends.
