Thelma Jo Kelly was born October 4, 1935 in Naples, Texas to John Henry and Mary Ethel (Robinson) Warren.  She passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on December 9, 2016 in Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Kelly was a graduate of Carver High School, Naples, Texas.  She was a member of the Norris S. Curry C.M.E. Church, Naples, Texas.  She was an avid sports fan, you name it- even golf, worked crossword puzzles and she loved to read.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother John Henry and Mary Ethel Warren; her daughter Mary Ann Peoples; five brothers and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory and to celebrate her life two grandchildren Domare Peoples of Hawthorne, CA and Donald Peoples of Indiana; one great grandchild Noah Peoples; her one sister Bettye Warren of Naples, Texas; one brother Billy Warren of Los Angeles, CA nieces Shirley Wilkerson, Shelia Wilkerson, Debra Hill, Delondra Warren; nephews Michael Warren and Rev. Carl Hannah; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
