Alice M. Turner

Alice Marie “Tiny” Turner was born August 12, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Ira and Marie Turner.  She died, Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Mt. Pleasant.

Alice was a 1964 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School where she was named Miss “Booker T. Washington”.    She was a member of the Sunset Baptist Church here in Mt. Pleasant. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Ira Turner, Marie (White) Turner, her brothers Billy Turner and Randolph Turner, her son-in-law Marvin Baker.

She leaves to cherish her memories three sons and  daughters-in-law Tony and Sheila Turner of  Daingerfield, Chris and Maria Turner, Kenneth Turner all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; two daughters Aretha Baker of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Terrie Wilson of Paris, Texas; 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; two sisters Joann Elliott and Delois Turner both of Ft. Worth; brothers Morris Turner of Ft. Worth and Calvin Turner of Washington, DC;  special friends Barbara Bowie of Kansas City, MO, Patsy Aikins, Melody Rockwell all of Mt. Pleasant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
