Annie Mae (Standberry) Lewis

Annie Mae Lewis

She was born August 16, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Ruied and Lee Ester (Hill) Standberry.  She attended Booker T. Washington schools.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and nourished people around her with her kind spirit, love and faith.  One of her favorite things to do was to cook and share a meal with friends in her community. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, five siblings and three children.

She leaves to cherish her eight children Charlene Lewis, Bonnie Heath (Larry), Debbie Lewis, Ray Charles Lewis (Vernette), Larry Lewis, Edward Smith, Margie Walker (Fred), and Terry Heath; 22 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one sister Dimple Chatman, one brother David Standberry (Flora); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
