Charles Edwin Moore

Charles Edwin Moore was born September 13, 1942 to Walter Lee and Eunice Marie (Cannon) Moore.  He died, peacefully, at home on Friday, August 10, 2018.

He was baptized at an early age at Unionville in Naples.  He attended several churches in the Naples area.  He graduated from George Washington Carver High School.  He received Christ and was a born-again Christian.  He loved people and his community.  He retired from DART after 25 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, daughter Tara LaJuan Moore, two sons Avery Scott Moore and Baron Glenn Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father Walter Lee Moore, one son and daughter-in-law Gideon  and Chinere Leonard of Dallas, Texas; three daughters Lisa Ray and Patrice Leonard both of Dallas, Texas LaToya Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his two brothers Ralph Moore of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Walter Moore of Hooks, Texas; his three sisters and a brother-in-law Edwina and Paul Bailey of Frisco, Texas; Eunice Johnson  and Audrey Faye Moore both of Texarkana, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
