Charles Ray Savage was born in Talco, Texas on November 6, 1962 to Elmer Ray and Nola Savage. He died, Saturday, August 18, 2018.
He attended Rivercrest High School, Bogota. He was lovingly known by his wife as “Horsie.” He was a very kind-hearted person and loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, a granddaughter Alaijha Brannon, his sister Rita Savage.
He leaves to cherish his memories and to celebrate his life, his wife of 28 years Betty Savage of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his mother Nola Savage of Talco, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law Kyle Hines of Talco, Texas, Damien and Makesha Brannon, Charles Jr. and Frantasia Savage all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 10 grandchildren Damajha Brannon, Aunesti Brannon, LaDante Johnson, Trinitee Brannon, Zamayah Savage, Nehemiah Savage, Messiah Savage, Auriyana Rogers, Zamarian Davis and Kashton Savage; two brothers and two sisters-in-law Craig and Samantha Savage of Paris, Texas, Marcus and Carolyn Savage of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; five sisters and one brother-in-law Vickie Pogue, Terri Savage, Janice Savage and Mary Savage all of Talco, Texas, Tressa and Earl Brannon, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; two uncles Jerry Wayne Savage of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Geary Don Savage of Talco, Texas; his mother and father-in-law Allie and Eugene Brannon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
