Clyde Henry "BB" Grant

Clyde Henry “BB” Grant, was born October 25, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  He died at home, Sunday, June 30, 2019.

He attended Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant.   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, as well.

He was preceded in death by his father John Henry Grant, his mother Dorothy Jean (Johnson) Howard, stepfather Eugene Howard, brother Eugene Howard, Jr.

BB leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 55 years and 11 months Troycer Mae Grant; three sons Richard James Grant, Christopher Grant, Jayden Askew; daughters Charlotte Grant and Taniesha Askew all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 8 grandchildren. 7 great grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law Richard Grant of Waco, Texas, James Howard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Rickey and Sheila Grant of Pittsburg, Texas; nine sisters and one brother-in-law Wanetta and Robert Grant, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Maxine Cook of Pittsburg, Texas, Augustine Veasley, Juanita Chism, Virginia Gail Brown, Lina Jean Howard all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Martha Sims of Pittsburg, Texas, Sharon Peel and Tammy Rogers both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
