Desmond Juwon Woods Jones was born in Dallas, Texas on October 1, 1976 to the parentage of Donnie Jones and Janis Woods.   Mr. Jones died Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Longview, Texas.   

Desmond was a 1995 graduate of Pittsburg High School and was attending Truck Driving School in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was a member of the Greater Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved his church and was always eager to assist with devotion and prayer.  He loved his family and children and was passionate about everything he did.  He loved horses and riding them. 

He was preceded in death by his his grandmother Betty Woods, grandfathers Bobbie Lee Woods, Willis Jones, George Eaton, uncle Joe Jones.      

He leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate his life, his father Donnie Jones (Shirley) of Pittsburg, Texas; his mother and father Janis and Jerry Eaton of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his daughter Amaya Jones of Pittsburg, Texas; one sister Christina Jones-Robertson of Dallas, Texas; three brothers Derrick (TaMedria) Jones of Pittsburg, Texas; Byron Eaton of Ft. Worth, Texas; Jaron Eaton of Seattle, Washington; grandmothers Vera Jones of Pittsburg, Texas and Ollie Eaton of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one niece Aniya Jones of Dallas, Texas, two nephews Elijah Roberton of Dallas, Texas, Braylon Eaton of San Antonio, Texas; special son and daughter E.J. Hill and Ariel Conley both of Pittsburg, Texas;  special aunts Anita Woods, Gloria Woods, Sharon Starr (Cleve), Elana Clear, Shirlon Jones, Annie Bell Gaston; special uncles Kenneth Jones, James Jones, Kenneth Woods and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
