Jeffie Elaine (Thomas) Dunkley was born in St. Louis, Mo on December 6, 1949 to Willie and Isabell (Jones) Thomas.  Mrs. Dunkley died Friday, April 14, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. 

She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas where she was an usher and member of the choir.  She met and married Danny Dunkley.   

She was preceded in death her parents, a grandson Malik Dunkley, one sister and three brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life,  her husband of 47 years Danny Dunkley of Tyler, Texas;  her two sons and daughters-in-law Saul and Tiffany Dunkley of Tyler, Texas; Mark and Matissa Dunkley of Fairbanks, Alaska; her eight grandchildren  Jessica Dunkley of Dallas, Texas; Shakia Dunkley of Daingerfield, Texas; Symone Dunkley and Teon Dunkley both of Tyler, Texas; Salai Boykins and  Ke’Shawn Dunkley both of of Fairbanks, AK; Shyeam Davis of Pittsburg, Texas; Mercadez Dunkley of Sulphur Springs, Texas; one aunt Jeffie Lee Peoples of San Jose, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Jeffie and Danny Dunkley account at Pilgrim Bank in Mt. Pleasant or Regions Bank wherever there is a location.
