John Wesley Turner
John Wesley Turner was born December 15, 1937 in Omaha, Texas to Richmond and Viola (Price) Turner. He passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019.
John was a member of Brown’s Temple C.M.E. Church, Omaha where he was a Steward. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a licensed Plumber. He retired from Red River Army Depot.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Richmond and Viola, and all of his siblings.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters and son-in-law Jackie Turner, LaTonya and Raymond Ellis all of Pittsburg, Texas; one son Wesley Turner of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren Daron Turner, Jabori Turner, Ethan Turner, Destini Turner, Brandi Murphy and her husband Golden Murphy, Raymond Ellis, Jr., Malik Ellis; three great grandchildren Sumiyah Lyons, Raymond Ellis, III, Golden Murphy IV; special friend Bettie Roberson of Omaha, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
