Mae Lois Sowells

Mae Lois was born December 28, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Norris (Jack) and Annie (Norman) Brown.  She passed away, peacefully, at home on Friday, November 15, 2019. 

She was a 1962 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant.  In her early years, she attended the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Mt. Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Sowells, two brothers James Norman, Leonard Norman; two sisters Effie McGill and Thelma Richmond. 

Mae leaves to cherish her memories, her children and their spouses Kimburley and Anthony Elliott, Tequlia Simpson, Allen Palmer and Martin Lacour, Charlotte and Aris Bartee all of  Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her grandchildren Marcus Palmer, Latoya Hurndon, Shermain Nixon, Tory Nixon, Michael Nixon, LaToni Elliott, Darren Mondrell Palmer, Sheridan Nixon, Christopher Bartee, Lauren Bartee;  a host of great grandchildren; her sister Linda Brown of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
