Ocie Alza Lewis

Ocie Alza Lewis was born April 2, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant, to Willard and Frances (Wooten) Lewis.  He died, Sunday, December 16, 2018. 

He attended Mt. Pleasant High School and graduated from ATI in Computer Aided Design.  He was an Army veteran having served in Korea.  He was a member at Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Frances Lewis, his paternal and maternal grandparents Alza and Ophelia Lewis; Ocie and Sallie Wooten; two brothers Wilford Lewis and James Lewis.

He is survived by his wife Linda Lewis; his mother Julia Lewis both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his two daughters Pilan Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Amber Anthony of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Oziah Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, Landon Sudds and Lyric Stroupe both of Dallas; two sisters and a brother-in-law Joyce Cecelia Lewis, Chandra and Dennis Parker all of Dallas, two aunts Helen Evans of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Murlean Scales of Barstow, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
