Wilma Jean (Doss) Thursby

Wilma Thursby was born July 14, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant Texas to Calip and Lorine (Thomas) Doss.  She died, Friday, March 29, 2019 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Wilma attended Booker T. Washington School and worked many years in housekeeping at Titus Regional Medical Center before retiring.  Wilma was a loving, caring wife mother, granny, sister and aunt. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandbaby Lutena Doss, her husband of 20 plus years Calvin Thursby, brothers Billy Clyde Doss and Ruben Lawrence Doss, three sisters Donna Doss and Maggie Doss, Gloria Doss- Johnson, two nephews Eric Aikins and Tony Godbolt, niece Andrea Woods Dudley.

She is survived by her daughter Lutena Doss; two grandsons Rickey (Brandice) Doss and Zavier Doss; two great grandsons Rickey and Levi Doss all of Sulphur Springs, TX;  one sister Barbara Aikins,  oldest niece more like a sister Peggy Adair both of Mt. Pleasant, TX; one uncle Joe M. Turner of Oklahoma; sisters-in-laws and a brother in-law Ruthie Jeffery, Mary Glover, I.C.  Thursby all of Mt. Pleasant, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
