Alberta Brown was born December 10, 1935 in Daingerfield, Texas to the parents of Richard and Cora D. (Woodson) Finley.
Alberta was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant, Class of 1955. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Alberta was a homemaker and loved to cook and loved stuffed animals. She enjoyed her bible ministry and did so until her health failed. She also loved spending time with her family; especially her only great grandchild, Keziah.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Cora Finley, her granddaughter Acacia Burch, her four siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Willie G. Brown of Mt. Pleasant; her daughters and son-in-law Phyllis Burch of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Monika and William Gering of Michigan, Carla Brown of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law Jimmye and Amanda Brown of Richardson, Texas; her grandchildren Kaylina Burch of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Natasha Burch of Dallas, Texas; great grandchild Keziah Gasaway of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her sister Margaret Mangon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
