Alfred Eugene Cannon

Alfred Eugene Cannon was born January 30, 1941in Naples, Texas to James and Ellen (Harris) Cannon.  He passed away, peacefully, at home on February 28, 2024. 

He was a graduate of Carver High School, Omaha/Naples.  He worked at Pilgrim’s Pride for over 20 years in the Parts delivery department , 40 years at Sears in Dallas and also worked security for Atlas Roofing and Shingles, Naples, Texas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Harris Cannon, Will T. Cannon,  and Clyde Cannon; seven sisters Edwina Scales, Mildred Fields, Mary Ewell, Jimmy Payne, Peggy Dixon, Ida Gaston, Eunice Moore.

Alfred leaves to cherish his memories,  his wife of 28 years Geraldine Cannon of Omaha, Texas; his sons Todwyn (Penny) Harris of Dallas, Texas, Roderick (Yuana) Cannon of DeSoto, Texas, Michael Cannon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one daughter Starla Cannon of Oakland, CA; 7 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
