Bobby Gene Hill

Bobby Gene Hill was born August 3, 1937 in Naples, Texas. He passed away , peacefully, on Sunday October 1, 2023 at his home in Mt. Pleasant Texas.

He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Mt. Pleasant,Texas were he was a football icon at his school.

He belongs to the Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant Texas where he grew-up. He was employed with Dart and Wonder Bread which he retired from both.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Alice and Billy Hill; son Reginald Hill; three brothers James Hill, Willie Hill and Earnest Hill; one sister Suedie Hill.

Mr. Hill was married and divorced from Erma Hill who also him preceded in death.

Bobby leaves to cherish his loving memories with his three daughters Tina McCarty (Robert McCarty) of Mt. Pleasant Texas, Betty Stewart (Earl Stewart) South Bend, Indiana, Gwendolyn Jiles of Austin, Texas and one brother Randolph Hill AKA “Uncle Jonnie”; grandchildren Shalinda Jeffery(Anthony Jeffery), Shenekra Hill, Tasha Jiles, Frankie Hill, Donald Caldwell (Anglia Caldwell), Reggie Hill, Edwin Hill (Nicole Hill), Phillip Washington, Latoiya Jiles, and Latanya Jiles; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; special nephew Derrick Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
