Carolyn Anderson Goodlow was born February 29, 1952 in Pecos, Texas. She passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant.
Carolyn attended Booker T. Washington School and later went to work in downtown Mt. Pleasant, at a clothing store, where she was the first black woman to work downtown Mt. Pleasant. She also worked in Home Health and loved helping people. She also loved to travel, loved shopping and dressing jazzy with her husband until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, who raised her, Dolly Mae Lawton, mother Bernice Brager, father Melvin Anderson, sisters Grace Bryant, Melody Brager and brother John Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband of 41 years Willie B. Goodlow Jr.; one son and daughter-in-law Arthur Williams Jr. (Michelle) of Dallas, Texas; six step children, four grandchildren Paris Bonner, JaCori Rodgers, JaQuan Moore all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Monica King of Dallas, Texas, two sisters Marilyn Jones of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Barbara Anderson of Dallas, Texas, five brothers and three sisters-in-law Don Jackson, Andy Brager (Iesha), Patrick Brager (Jackie), Terry Brager (Donica), Glenn Brager all of Dallas, Texas; aunt Gyeitha Ellis, two uncles Pink Turner Jr., Weldon Dickson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
