Charles Wesley Edwards

Charles Wesley Edwards was born July 7, 1963 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to John Wesley Edwards Jr. and Donna Almeda Casteel.   He  passed away, Monday July 6, 2020. 

Charles, fondly known as Peter Gunn  was a graduate of Hughes Springs High School — Class of 1981.  Charles joined the United States Navy after receiving his bachelor degree from Texas A & M Commerce where he became a member of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.  He worked for Deltek, Inc., as a Software Developer.

He joined  his parents; his grandmother’s  Luella Casteel and  Myrlene Edwards; his grandfather’s Harvey Casteel and John Edwards Sr. and his beloved Aunt Sally Craig.

He leaves to cherish his memories — his wife, Jennifer Lynn Muriel Edwards; his sons Corey Golightly Edwards, Khaemon Charles Edwards and Charles Wesley  Edwards II “Tub”; daughter  Christine Muriel Edwards “Steam Engine” and step children Keisha Lynn Smith and Ryan Keith Smith; grandson Ryan Smith Jr; grandmother Ocie Edwards and a host of  aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
