Dorise Ellis

Dorise Ellis, entered this world August 18, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Cleathon and Mollie B. Ellis. 

Dorise was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church where he remained a loyal and devoted member until his passing.  He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant.  He attended one year of college.

He was a dedicated employee at Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, where he was a Forklift Operator before retiring.   

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one grandchild Brandon Ellis, his brother James Ellis. 

To celebrate his life and to cherish his memories, he leaves his two sons Troy Ellis and Mark Patterson both of Dallas, Texas; his two daughters Daundra Ellis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Veronica Ellis of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren Troy Ellis Jr., Victoria Smith, Derrick Smith, Shalicia Cook, Jada Cook, Taylor Ellis, La Marqu Patterson; one great grandchild Carter Jackson; sister-in-law Delois Ellis of Dallas, Texas; one nephew Cleathon Ellis of Dallas, Texas; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
