Dorris Jean Montgomery was born September 6, 1946 to Clarence and Lillie Wright in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
In her earlier years, she was a member of Prairie Hill Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She graduated from Nursing School at Northeast Texas Community College, Mt. Pleasant. She worked many years as an LVN at Titus Regional Medical Center. She retired after 36 years of services. She loved helping people. She was a member of the Gospel Harmonettes and loved to sing and play the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis Jordan Sr., daughter Tammy Jordan, five brothers and three sisters.
Leaving to cherish her memory her son Dennis Jordan Jr. of Plano, Texas, her grandchildren Trey Rogers and Tiffanie Jordan of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; brothers and sister-in-law Weldon Wright, Melvin (Ann) Wright of Sulphur Springs, Texas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law Rose Finnie, Bobbye (Wilbert) Roland, Darlene (M.L.) Kendricks all of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
