Flora Mae Moore was born in Morris County to the parents of Wade and Nollie Mae (Cole) Howard on October 12, 1938.
She was a member of the Sheppard Street Church of Christ where she served faithfully until her health failed. She served in the hospitality department and the food pantry. In her earlier years she assisted with the youth; she loved coordinating activities for the youth both at her church and in her home. She loved fishing, cooking, sewing and was a hairstylist. She loved her family and was dedicated in keeping them together by coordinating the Howard and Cole family reunions. Before retiring she worked for MPISD as a cook. She also worked for Dr. Garry and Dorothy Taylor for many years. She was well known in the community.
She was preceded in death by her husband Corinthis Moore Sr.; her parents Wade and Nollie Howard, grandson Victor “Too Sweet” Justice Jr., her sisters Gloria Finley and Winnie Pearl Davis, brothers Marvin Dudley, Donnie Bryson, B.J. Howard.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children and their spouses Lena Carroll of Dallas, Texas, Bobby Earl and Anetha Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Corinthis Moore Jr. of Pittsburg, Texas; Sherry and Joey Luster of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Garry and Anita Moore of Mesa, AZ, Frederick and Melissa Moore of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; two sisters Betty Jo Green of Arizona; Letha Harvey of Kansas City, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
