LuVenia Pearson Jr. was born December 4, 1941, in Rockwall, Texas to  LuVenia Pearson Sr. and Inez Pearson.

LuVenia loved working and spending time with family. He was married to Darlene King Pearson for 20 years and  to this union  4 children. He was a jack of all trades but master of none. He loved sharing his life stories with us. He was loved and respected by his family and friends. Later in life dad remarried and from this union a son was born, Marcus Pearson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Pearson, his father LuVenia Pearson Sr. , his mother Inez Pearson, his brothers Henderson Pearson, Troy T. Pearson, Eddie B. Thomas, Charles Pearson, sisters Johanna Byrd and Irene Smith..

LuVenia is survived by his children: Rickey W. Pearson, Craig D. Pearson, Lutrina K. Pearson, Delores M. Pearson and Marcus Pearson (Vallie); LuVenia was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren: Darlene (D’dee Pearson) McLoughlin, Steven L. Brooks and Xavier D. Jones; his siblings: David L Pearson, Willie Pearson (Rotanza), Joe Nathan Pearson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
