On September 13, 1925, Margaret Patricia Williams was born to Henry and Anise Williams in Naples, Texas.
Margaret accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Naples, Texas, where she sang in the choir.
Mott as she was affectionately known, attended and graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Naples, Texas. She also attended Millinery School and received her certification. In 1948, she united in Holy matrimony to Bonnie Dewitte Jefferson.
Mott worked as a Dietician at the David Granberry Memorial Hospital for 17 years before retiring in 1990. Mott was a member of the Mary Allen Court No. 232 Heroines of Jericho.
Margaret earned her heavenly wings and became a ward of God’s angels on Saturday evening January 9, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband, Bonnie D. Jefferson, of 52 years before he passed on March 1, 2000; two brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memories and to celebrate her life her nieces and nephews along with a host of, cousins other relatives and friends.
