Michael Ray Bobby was born February 5, 1967, to James and Dorothy Bobby.
He started early as a hard-working young man, in the hay field with his father, and other laboring jobs. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, and later obtained his commercial driver’s license. He was a member of Unity Church, Mt. Pleasant. He was a bus driver for surrounding school districts before becoming a over the road driver. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his grandchildren. “Ain’t it Man” could turn anyone’s frown into a smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Bobby; paternal grandparents, Annie Mae Peel and Rufus Bobby; and maternal grandparents, Johnnie Mae and Leonard Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Dorothy Bobby of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his wife Angela Veasley of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one daughter and two sons Ashley Veasley, Jaquavion Veasley, and Jamorris Veasley all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Three brothers, one sister, two sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law. Christopher Johnson, John and Donna Johnson, all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Alvester and Yolanda Bobby of Desoto, Texas; Teresa and Ron King of Ft. Worth, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
