Noble Lee Tillis was born August 23, 1946 to Leonard and Dolrene (Brown) Tillis of Marshall, Texas.
Noble attended the Marshall Public School District and at an early age was baptized at The Macedonia Baptist Church. After attending school, he moved to Ft Worth, Texas where he began driving trucks. Noble later went on to drive for ABF Freight Systems where he retired in 2004 after 27 years of service.
Noble loved traveling, racing horses, watching his daily soap operas and westerns and refurbishing antique cars. He was also a member of the US Trotting Association, The Circle L5 Riding Club out of Ft. Worth, Texas, and a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Noble moved away and began his retirement in Omaha, Texas where he met his wife Sandra Rivers, and they married August 21, 2004.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra; his Father Leonard and Mother Dolrene; stepson Jerel Avery; siblings Otis Tillis, Nelson Tillis, Rosie Hubbard and his niece Crystal Payne.
His memory will forever be cherished by those he loved, namely his two daughters Rhonda Jones of Forney, Texas; Ashia Tillis (Jesse) of Houston, Texas; two brothers Ardis Tillis (Annette) of Omaha, Texas, Audray Tillis (Thelma) of Marshall, Texas; one sister/niece Debra Martin (Glen) of Marshall, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
