Pamela JaNise (Dudley) Chism

Pamela JaNise Dudley Chism was born in Williamsburg, VA on September 10, 1958 to James and Letha (Elliott) Dudley. She passed away on December 25, 2022.

Pam was a member of Sheppard Street Church of Christ and a teacher for the Mt. Pleasant Independent School District. She finished High School a year early and top of her class in 1976 but returned to march with her class- MPHS Class of 1977.  She was a Tiger Doll and a cheerleader.  She graduated Cum Laude and received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, Texarkana.  She loved watching her grandchildren play basketball.  She met and married the love of her life, Joe Melvin Chism.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Dudley Sr., Letha and LaMaurice Fomby; brothers James Dudley Jr.  and Joseph Dudley. 

She leaves to cherish her memories,  her husband of 46 years,  Joe Melvin Chism; son and daughter-in-law Joey and Lori Chism all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas;  daughter and son-in-law Melbarnee and Marcus Autry of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren Zaveion Chism Okoh, Payton Chism, Carter Chism, Malori Chism, Cortlan Autry and Aniya Autry; her siblings Victor (Marsha) Dudley of Dallas, Texas, LaMarvin (Lula) Fomby, Paula (Vincent) Hurndon, Sybil Woods Elijah all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Monique Dudley of Baton Rouge, LA; sister-in-law Quettia Dudley of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special cousin Jearlynn Jackson of Dallas, Texas, other relatives and friends.
