Roney Howard Veasley Sr.

Roney H. Veasley Sr. was born September 17,1947 in Pittsburg, Texas to Arree and Corine Veasley. He attended Fredrick Douglas High School and after high school he joined the United States Army. After leaving the Army,  he worked at Pilgrim’s Pride Processing Plant for many years until he retired.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two sons Toney Howard and Howard Veasley, his granddaughter Victoria Smith and his brother Willie M Veasley. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories his wife Augustine Veasley, his daughters Annie Veasley Brown (Arthur Brown), Angela Veasley (Micheal Bobby) his son Roney H. Veasley Jr., all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; his  three brothers, Alvin Veasley of Longview, Stanley Veasley of Mt. Pleasant, Artis Ray Veasley of Pittsburg; two sisters , Marine Veasley Bowser of Yukon, Oklahoma and Rogene Traylor of Stillwater, Oklahoma; aunt Ruth Farmer of Pittsburg, a special cousin and best friend Willie James Veasley of Pittsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
