Sheniqua Dar'Briel (Brooks) Thompson

Sheniqua Dar’Briel Brooks was born January 11, 1979 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Perry and Donna (Davis) Brooks. 

Briel, at an early age, united with Sunset Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.  She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1997.  She attended college at Northeast Texas Community College and a Technical College in Marshall, Texas. 

Briel was preceded in death by her grandparents Margretta Brooks, Charlie Marie Payne and Billy Ralph Davis; her uncles Billy Brooks, Willie Clyde Payne, Billy Jewel Davis, Trenton S. Davis, Sr. and her aunt Dian Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband La’Sedrick Thompson; her father and mother Perry and Donna Brooks; her three children Ty’ Zesjawon Walker, Morgan Brooks, Gavin Brooks-Thompson all of Mt. Pleasant; grandparents Rev. John M. and Angela Brooks of Pittsburg, Texas; aunts and uncles Gwendolyn and Donnie Harvey, Frances and Tony Hooks, Wanda Payne, Shirley Brown, Larry Davis all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Lavean and Stacey Brooks of Little Elm, Texas, Carl and Katrina Davis, Mary and Joe Castorena, Sonya Davis all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas,  Michael and Hope Davis of Mt. Vernon, Texas; special friends Martha Gutierrez of Dallas, Texas, Michelle Gutierrez, Tabatha Godbolt, Bridgett Walker all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Christable Grundy of Sulphur Springs, Texas; godfather Derrick Hill of Dallas, Texas, godmother Teresa Gilbert of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
