Sherri Leneshia (Minter) Yeboah was born on January 6, 1984, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in Denton, Texas.
Sherri was a member of First Church of God in Christ in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Mt. Pleasant, Class of 2002. She continued her education at Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant where she completed her main courses and graduated with an associate’s degree. She continued on with her education, earning an Associate Degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas in Denton. She later obtained certification as a Medical Monitor Technician from North Central Texas College. Sherri dedicated 12 years of service to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. Following the birth of her daughter, she continued her healthcare career at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, where she worked faithfully until her health declined.
Sherri had a deep love for softball, was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, and cherished time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oper and T.L. Minter, Sr.; her uncles, T.L. Minter, Jr. and Terrance Searcy; her brother, Vincent Green; and her cousin, Tarrell Howard.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving husband, Samuel Yeboah, and her daughter, Samara Yeboah, both of Denton, Texas; she is also survived by her Mother and Father, Sandra and Abiodun Olajide (Papa Smooth) of Denton, Texas; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eric Amankwah and Amber Henry of Naples, Florida; her uncle and aunt, Michael and Missina Minter of Denton, Texas; her great-uncle and great-aunt, Louis Dean and Carolyn Minter of Mount Pleasant, Texas; her sisters, Tarameshia Fields Wesley of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Arica Mills of Denton, Texas; her special cousin, Mace Minter of Denton, Texas; her special friend, Cynthia Lawrence-Smith of Denton, Texas; godfather David Rose of Wichita, Kansas and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
