Shirley Ann (Turner) Traylor

Shirley Ann Traylor was born JANUARY 14, 1948, to the parents of Arthur and Lou Ella (Grant) Turner in Allen, Texas.

Shirley was a member of the Sheppard Street Church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Class of 1966.  She met and married the love of her life, William Tarver Traylor Sr. and to this union five children were born. Shirley loved fishing, sewing, quilting and gardening.  She quilted blankets for all the members in the church.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her father, brothers L.A. Turner, Onzie Turner, Otis Turner, L.W. Turner, Arthur Morris Turner and Willie James Turner.

She leaves to cherish her memories three sons and two daughters-in-law William Tarver Jr. and LaVetra Traylor, Marvin Traylor, Curtis and Alexus Traylor; two daughters and two sons-in-law Monica and Frank Batiste, Teresa and Keith Duffey Sr.; 15 grandchildren Tadarius Peters (Vanity), Tatyana Moody, Shondarius Standberry, L’Shaundre Warren, Tykeyah  and Talisha Duffey, Malazia Batiste, Keith Duffey Jr., Lajonathon, LaZavier, Lantwan, Nyah Traylor, Markevius, Brooklyn, Prophet, Curtis Jr.; 10 great grandchildren Asaiah Thomas, Jeremiah  and Journii Moody, Tydaryn, Taiylor and Travis Peters, Payton, Kaigen, and Kyson  Standberry, Jayden Traylor;  two sisters Betty Ann Turner, Edith Osadolar, one brother Willie Ray Turner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
