Terry Dewayne Hurndon

Terry Dewayne Hurndon was born February 5, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Goree Hardge and Claudie Faye Hurndon. 

He attended Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1978.   Terry was baptized in the Church of Christ and was a member of Sheppard Street Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant. He attended Brick Masonry School in California and worked many years as a Brick Mason.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved and cherished his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his son Travion Khahlil Hurndon, his father and mother Goree and Claudie Faye, his sisters Letha Mae Hurndon and Doris Faye Hurndon, his brother Rayfus Lamar “Red” Hurndon.

He leaves to cherish his memories his son Torey Nixon of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; a daughter Jasmine Brown of Edmond, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren;  his brothers and sister-in-law Larry Hurndon, Vincent and Paula Hurndon, Rickey Charles Hurndon all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; his sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara Cannon, Dorothy Hurndon, Anita and Ralph Crabtree all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Billie and Floyd Hollis of Daingerfield, Texas, Glenda and Dylan McCarty of Duncanville, Texas; special friend Belinda People,  best friend and cousin Kenneth “Slick” Lewis both  of Mt. Pleasant, Texas;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
