Tressa Brannon Obituary

Tressa Ann (Savage) Brannon was born on March 6, 1963, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Nola and Elmer Ray Savage. She transitioned peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Tressa, fondly known by all as “Bea,” attended school in Talco, Texas. She worked at Pilgrim Pride in Mount Pleasant, Texas, for many years and was a faithful member of a Full Gospel Pentecostal church in Mount Pleasant, Texas, until her health began to fail.

She married the love of her life, Earl Eugene Brannon, Sr. on February 13, 1978, and to this union three children were born: Earl Brannon Jr., Telesha Brannon, and Alicia Brannon. Bea was a loving and caring person who would do anything to help others. She deeply loved her family and church family. Bea was also well known for baking sweet milk cakes, which were a must-have at family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Ray Savage; two sisters, Rita Savage, and Vicki Pogue; and one brother, Charles Savage, Sr.

Bea leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life: her devoted husband of 48 years, Earl Brannon Sr. of Mount Pleasant, Texas; her son, Earl Brannon Jr. of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Alicia Brannon of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Telesha and Corey Crump of Cason; five grandchildren, Sha’Quesha Brannon, Elantra Brannon, Tydarius Brannon, Aniya Crump, and Liv Brannon; three great-grandchildren, Kaiden McNeely, Zaiden Feagins, and Zoli Feagins; her mother, Nola Savage of Talco, Texas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Allie Brannon of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two brothers, Craig Savage (Samantha) of Paris, Texas and Marcus Savage (Carolyn) of Mount Pleasant, Texas; three sisters, Terri Savage, Janice Savage, and Mary Savage, all of Talco, Texas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Betty Savage, Roy Jr. and Penny Newton, Roger Sr. and Treva Brannon, Roy Brannon, Geary Jr. and Sheila Savage, all of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Joe and Samantha Brannon of Fate, Texas; her best friend, Roshanda Hill of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
