Twilver Lee Thompson was born October 8, 1958 in Oakdale, Louisiana to Videlia and Choice Thompson Sr. Twilver passed away, at home, on March 24, 2023.
He was a member of the Franklin Street Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, class of 1977. After graduation, he attended a Technical School in Kansas City, MO where he received his Demolition license. He retired from Luminant Mining Company after 30 years of service. Twilver enjoyed working and the outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Choice Thompson Sr., mother Videlia Thompson, his son Twan Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 42 years Ocie Thompson; three daughters Rachel Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Andrina Jones of Houston, Texas, Tia Thompson of Austin, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law Keith and Kitsha Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Kortney and Stephanie Jones of Leander, Texas, Ravon Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters-in-law Choice and Jan Thompson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Arthur and Wanda Thompson of Kansas City, MO, Ray and Chandra Thompson of Round Rock, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law Angela and Pastor Larry Kenney of Longview, Texas, Verta Thompson-Malone of Austin, Texas; his uncles Wayne Walker and Harold Walker; aunts Georgia Walker and Vera Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
