Virginia Ann (Owens) Fisher

Virginia Ann (Owens) Fisher was born April 23, 1952 to Rollie Owens Sr. and Ruby (Anderson) Owens in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  She passed away, peacefully, on Thursday, February 25, 2021. 

Virginia attended Booker T. Washington, Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1970.  She was a member of the Revelation Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California where she was president of the Usher Board.  After moving back to Mt. Pleasant, she attended Mt. Gilmore Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant and Extrordinary Miracles Church of God in Christ, Talco, Texas.  She loved serving the elderly and had a passion for music. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren and family.                              

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Marvin Farrier; two brothers Charles Edward Anderson and Rollie Owens, Jr. 

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons and a daughter-in-law Gregory Fisher, Jr., James and Lauren Booker all of Dallas, Texas; her three grandchildren Jabralon Fisher, Beverly Ann Marie Booker, Violet Renee Marie Booker; her brother and sister-in-law Winford D. (Biggie) and Helen Owens; sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Jimmy Fleming all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
