Willie Glen Askew was born August 25, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Troy and Jessie Lee (Neal) Askew.
Willie attended Booker T. Washington Schools, Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judy Askew, one brother Johnny Mack Askew.
He leaves to cherish his memories four sons Tony Askew of Denton, Texas, , Berry Askew of Commerce, Texas, Clifton Jones and Kenneth Bradford both of Dallas, Texas; three daughters Connie Askew of Greenville, Texas, Meisha Askew of Denton, Texas, Latonya Bradford of Dallas, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Troycer Grant and Corrzella Askew both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; brother Melvin Askew of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
