Anthony Roland (Tony) Price was born January 24, 1954 to Roland and Bobbie Lee (Cooper) Price in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. 

He was a member of the Cottrell Chapel CME Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.  He was a 1972 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School where he played football and basketball.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and he worked many years at Red River Army Depot before retiring. 

He met and married Telecia Bates and to this union one daughter was born, Gwenisha C. Price.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father and mother, a sibling and one aunt Margie Ballard. 

He also leaves to cherish his memories two grandchildren Amari Grant and Nathaniel Dial; a step sister Hattie Louise Mosley of Dallas, Texas; his cousins Earline Jackson and Roy James Henry both of Mt. Pleasant; his brothers  Chester Palmer of Kansas City, MO, Edward Charles Thornton of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Freddie Lewis and wife Bonda of Irving, Texas; godchildren Amari, Quadray, Jack and AA and a host of other cousins and friends.
